Delivery & Returns

Every ceramic piece I create is a part of me and I want your piece/s to arrive safe, so you can welcome them into your life. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about delivery, packaging and returns.

If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact me. I’ll be happy to help.

Delivery

At the moment, I ship to mainland UK only.

If you’re outside of mainland UK and have fallen in love with one of my ceramic beings, please contact me. Depending on where you are and the piece you’re interested in, I may be able to arrange a safe international delivery.

For UK orders, a flat-fee of £6 will be added to your Basket before Checkout. Orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days using Royal Mail Tracked 48.

You will be asked to provide an email address at checkout, so I can add it to your shipment information. Royal Mail will then send your tracking information directly to you.

I’ll always dispatch your order within the stated timeframe, but once it’s with Royal Mail, delivery times are outside my control. During particularly busy periods, such as the run-up to Christmas, parcels may take a little longer to arrive. Please bear that in mind when placing an order.

Packaging

Every piece is carefully packaged to give the best protection during its journey.

Whenever I can, I use recycled and recyclable packaging materials, including recycled cardboard boxes, recycled paper, paper tape, and clean reused packaging. It isn’t always possible to avoid non-recyclable materials completely, but I do my best to keep them to a minimum.

If your order arrives damaged

Although every piece is packed with great care, accidents can occasionally happen during delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving it, including photos of both the piece and the packaging.

We’ll decide together on the best solution. Depending on the circumstances, that may be a replacement (from the same collection or another piece of a similar value), or a partial or full refund.

If a replacement is needed because the damage happened in transit, I will cover the delivery cost.

Lost parcels

If your parcel seems to have gone missing, I’ll work with you and Royal Mail to find out what’s happened.

If Royal Mail confirms that the parcel has been lost, we’ll decide together whether a replacement or a refund is the best option.

Returns

Handmade pieces & variations in colours

Please bear in mind the following before requesting a refund:

  • My art is handmade, so you may notice small variations in finish along with tiny imperfections that naturally occur during the making process. To me, these are part of what makes human made ceramics special. They give each piece its own character, much like people.
  • I do my best to photograph each piece as accurately as possible, and in different lighting. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device settings. If you’d like to see additional photos before placing an order, please contact me. I’ll be happy to provide them.

Returning a piece

I really hope you love my ceramic piece once you see it and hold it. But if that’s not the case and you would like to return it, please let me know within 7 days of receiving it. After that, you will need to send the piece back within 14 days.

To be eligible for a refund, the piece should be:

  • Unused
  • Undamaged
  • Securely packaged (ideally in its original packaging)
  • Returned using a tracked postal service.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs of returning your item.

Once I’ve received the piece and confirmed that it is undamaged, I will process the refund.

Please be aware that the initial delivery charge and the cost of return shipping are not refundable.
